SBE-Invest looks for a substantial property portfolio, including both operational and non-operational assets, consisting of lucrative projects and assets. Assets identified as surplus to operational needs through the forthcoming Property Strategy will be evaluated for investment opportunities. The capability to manage our property assets effectively is already present internally, and investing in our own assets is a continuation and expansion of ongoing efforts.

In order for SBE-Invest to be successful in managing assets in this climate, it is necessary for them to make choices that are both consistent and timely considering the highly competitive nature of the property investment market. In light of this, it has been suggested that an Investment Advisory Panel be established in order to serve as a body that provides advice regarding these preliminary judgments. They are responsible for ensuring that the decisions are supported by the authorized investment matrix and that they are in accordance with the Corporate Strategy.
